What does TrailAware cost?
The app is free — maps, trails, AR navigation, wildfire alerts, and sharing included. TrailAware Pro is $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year, and a limited Founder Lifetime is $79.99 once for the first 500 riders.
Where do I buy Pro?
In the app, through the App Store. There’s no checkout on this website — download TrailAware free, and upgrade from inside the app when Pro arrives this fall.
What stays free forever?
The full trail map, single-trail AR navigation, wildfire alerts and closures, elevation profiles, favorites, AR capture, community contributions, and trail sharing. Safety features are never paywalled, at any tier.
What is Founder Lifetime?
One payment of $79.99 for Pro forever, plus a Founder badge on your community profile. It’s capped at the first 500 purchases — about the price of a single year of other trail apps’ top plans, once.
Do my private trails stay private?
Yes. Private GPX imports stay under your control and are never published, listed, or added to a heatmap. Pro raises the private limit from 6 to unlimited and adds cloud sync — privacy is the default either way.
When does Pro launch?
This fall, alongside a wave of new features — group rides, route building, live Track-Me sharing, and offline map packs roll out through the season. Features marked “coming this fall” unlock as they ship.
