TrailAware, Inc. (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the TrailAware mobile application (the “App”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of the App.

We collect minimal Personal Information through third-party authentication services (Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In). The Personal Information we collect is limited to your name and, if you choose to share it, your email address. This information is used solely for user authentication and basic profile functionality within the App.

Log Data:
Like many app providers, we collect information that your device sends whenever you use our App (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your device’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device type, operating system version, the time and date of your use of the App, and other statistics.

Authentication Services:
Our App uses Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In for user authentication. When you choose to sign in using these services, they handle the authentication process according to their respective privacy policies. We only receive the basic profile information you agree to share.

Security:
We are committed to protecting the security of your Personal Information. We use Firebase, a secure cloud platform, for user authentication and data storage. While we implement commercially acceptable means to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Disclosure of Personal Information:
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your Personal Information to outside parties. Your information is only used within our App and with necessary service providers (such as Firebase) who assist us in operating the App. These service providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of the date stated above and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.
