How it works for your guests
No hardware, no signage, no app for you to build. TrailAware works with the trails you already have.
A guest arrives on your mountain
They cross your geofence with TrailAware on their phone — nothing to scan, nothing to download twice.
The app becomes your app
Your trail names, colors, and sponsors — and your trails drawn in AR through the camera.
You see how the mountain gets used
Trail-usage analytics for grooming, patrol coverage, sponsorship reporting, and build planning.

Destination resorts and multi-mountain groups: custom plans from $12,000/year — talk to us. Trail associations and volunteer stewards manage their trails free on the Steward tier. Setup: free self-serve, or we build your map for you from GPX or PDF.
Run it yourself, from the portal
TrailAware Basecamp is live self-service: draw a trail on your property and it’s on a guest’s phone in about a minute — altitude-ready, in AR. Closures, patrol routes, and promos work the same way.
Events and parks we’ve powered
If it works on a Red Bull Rampage cliff face, it works on your mountain.
Flagship event
Red Bull Rampage
Red Bull invited TrailAware to showcase AR line visualization at the sport’s most demanding freeride event. Under a month of planning, a week of testing on the venue terrain — rider lines rendered live on a Utah cliff face.
Race series
Over the Hump
AR course visualization across the Orange County race series — the course line in front of competitive riders, week after week, all season.
Bike park
Skypark Bike Park
On-site AR trail wayfinding demoed for park guests at Skypark — the working model for the resort partner program.
Questions GMs ask us
Does TrailAware work with our existing trail maps?
Yes. We build from the trail data you already have — GPX files, GIS exports, or your current trail map. Your trails render in the app and in AR without re-surveying the mountain.
Do guests need cell coverage on the mountain?
No. Trails, elevation, and the basemap cache on the guest’s phone, so AR wayfinding keeps working in dead zones — which most mountains have plenty of.
Can the app carry our resort’s branding?
Yes. Branding is geofenced: inside your boundary guests see your trail names, colors, and sponsor placements. Outside it, TrailAware is TrailAware.
What does it cost?
Trailhead is $149/month self-serve, Ridgeline $449/month with remote onboarding, and Summit $949/month white-glove — per location, two months free on annual billing. Winter operation adds 60% to the annual price for a year-round contract.
What does it take to get started?
The portal is live. Sign in, draw your trails (or upload the GPX you already have), and they’re on guests’ phones the same day. On Ridgeline and Summit we onboard your team and can build the map for you.
